Cabin in the Mountains

During Kevin and Jenna's track out in October we decided to spend a couple of days in a cabin in the North Carolina mountains. We had a good time. The weather was nice the first two days, but the third day it was so cold. We were only there for a few hours on the third day, but I was worried it would start snowing before we could get out. Luckily it didn't.

We had a great time. The kids loved playing outside. They even played in the stream (much to my dismay). Derek cooked us a campfire meal. We roasted marshmallows and made smores. We rented a movie, and had a movie night. There was a pool table in the basement, so we played a few rounds of pool too. It was a nice get away.
